Our brewing kit is built to make loose leaf tea effortless. The strainer is made from durable stainless steel with fine laser-cut pores, so it filters out even the tiniest leaf particles while still letting the flavour fully develop.

It’s sized to fit almost any mug, giving your tea leaves the space they need to expand.

Here’s how it works:

- Place the strainer in your mug - it rests securely on top.

- Add a spoonful of loose leaf tea into the strainer.

- Pour in hot water and steep - watch the leaves open up and release their flavour.

- When your tea is ready, move the strainer into its holding cup.

Some of our blends are naturally caffeine-free, like our Chamomile Sweet Dreams, whilst others, like our Darjeeling Black, contain natural caffeine from tea leaves. You’ll find caffeine guides specific to each blend on this page's product cards.

Tea is a category that doesn’t fit neatly into the organic certification model, which is why you’ll rarely see high-quality tea brands carrying the organic label.

When we built Marna’s supply chain, we had two choices:

1. Source from large, mass-market suppliers that could afford organic certification,
but often underpay tea pickers and have fewer controls on quality, or

2. Partner directly with smaller, specialist farms where we can ensure that the tea is
grown and picked responsibly, ethically, and to the highest possible standard.

We chose the second route.

Every tea we use is carefully sourced for quality and fairness, even if it doesn’t carry an official organic stamp. In fact, the whole tea leaves we brew with are of higher grade than the tea sold in many locations across the world. The organic label is valuable for certain products, but in tea it can be misleading.

What matters most is how the tea is grown, picked, and processed, and we take that responsibility very seriously.

Tea bags often contain broken tea ‘dust’ and can even release microplastics into yourdrink. Our loose leaf teas use whole, carefully sourced leaves for maximum flavour, quality, andhealth benefits - plus, they’re better for the environment.
